After installing LiveStorage or installing/updating AntiVirus Software, users may get the following error message:
Error : Cannot open parts file (C:\Program Files (x86)\LiveStorage\CHIRT\
This error message usually indicates the machine’s antivirus software is interfering with the LiveStorage application. This issue mainly affects users running BitDefender A/V software, however, other antivirus or firewall applications could cause the issue. The solution is to add an exception for the LiveStorage application to your antivirus software:
C:\Program Files (x86)\CHI-LLC\LiveStorage\
**NOTE: BitDefender Free does not allow users to add program exceptions. We have notified the company of this issue, but at this time, LiveStorage is not compatible with BitDefender Free.
